Rev Plate-140 emulates the classic EMT 140 reverb. Released in 1957, this plate reverb quickly became a studio essential, and now you can have a “circuit accurate” emulation of it in your DAW for nothing. Rev Plate-140 recreates the original’s vacuum tube preamp, and promises a full-bodied sound and a lush tail. It’s designed for use on vocals and for adding glue and space to your mix. Rev PLATE has also taken the opportunity to add a new feature or two: specifically, adjustable pre-delay and a high-pass filter on the input. There’s also an integrated chorus and a post-reverb EQ. Want to run your signal through three sine-warps or fuzz algorithms in series? This is your box. Kombinat’s signal structure allows for a fairly broad palette of sounds, as each segment of the overall effect is a versatile tool in its own right. On the front end is a full “DJ-style” band-killer EQ; this leads to the three distortion engines, which may be used in multi-band mode for subtle surgery, or in series mode for complete signal destruction. A compressor that eats transients for breakfast, the 1178 is a rare and expensive legend of the recording studio, cleaner and more versatile than its older brother, the 1176. 1178 further than the original unit, adding all the features you would expect from magesy download a modern, versatile plug-in, including a full sidechain EQ for added control, an optional saturation stage for warmth and character, and precise metering.
Wurlitzer virtual instrument plugin was sampled from magesy download an “early model” 1970’s Wurlitzer 200A electronic piano. These signals were fed into Grace M101 and AEA TRP Preamps respectively. The wurlitzer’s amplifier and preamp were re-capped in an attempt to save the amplifier, but about half way through the sampling process the amplifier died, which eventually killed the power transformer. The preamp, amp, and power transformer were all replaced and sampling continued. Well sampling the bass notes, it became apparent that the Wurlitzer’s built in speakers also needed to be replaced.
